There is no registration process at this stage. What you need to do is to submit your abstract. The abstract should be less than 300 words. It should state your research background, research questions and argument. There is no particular format of the abstract. You must send your abstract to this email address which is japanese.studies.asean@gmail.com. The committee will select the good abstracts and we will announce the selected abstract soon. If you are selected, we will send you a form to register. There is no registration fee.

Although we acknowledge that online platforms have given presenters and participants to attend academic activities more freely, we strongly encourage everyone to attend the conference physically. Nevertheless, we do financially support you to attend the conference (except postgraduate workshop on 20th December 2023). Should you have any questions, please feel free to write an email to us.

We do not give awards to any paper this year. We will send out questionnaires to the authors if they want to publish their papers with our journal partners or not. We will work closely with our journal partners. However, the procedure of matching the journal will be announced in due course.

8. Is the journal under your organization SCOPUS-indexed?

At the Faculty of Political Science and Public Administration, Chiang Mai University, we do have a double-blind peer-review journal which is indexed in TCI tier 1. You can learn more about the journal at https://so05.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/polscicmujournal.
